On 30 septembar 2017, Air China will launch a new non-stop route between Peking i Atina. The service will be operated twice a week with Airbus 330-200 aircraft, reducing the journey time between Peking i Atina to just 10.5 hours. Passengers travelling to Atina can enjoy convenient connections to Santorini, Zakynthos and other popular Greek tourist destinations.

The new route between Peking i Atina confers Grčka the role of a regional transportation hub, serving business travellers, tourists and students from both countries.

Novi Peking-Atina service will bring the total number of routes to 26, with an offering of 300 flights per week to 19 major European destinations, including London, Pariz, Frankfurt, Minhen, Beč, Rim, Moskva, Barselona i Madrid, all serviced by wide-body aircraft.

novi Peking-Atina route will operate every Wednesday and Saturday under flight numbers CA863/4. The outbound flight departs Peking u 02:30 i dolazi Atina at 08:15; The inbound flight departs Atina u 14:15 i dolazi Peking at 04:30 the next day (all times are local).

Flights are operated by Airbus 330-200 aircraft, equipped with fully-reclinable seats in Business Class and ergonomic, fatigue-free seats in Economy Class. In-flight entertainment systems are offered to all passengers for a more personalised viewing experience.
