Mr. James Kodianthara, Managing Director of Concord Exotic Voyages (I) P. Ltd., has been appointed as the Chair of the IATO Kerala Chapter in place of Mr. Sejoe Jose.
Mr. Jitendra Kejriwal, Chair of Arika Tour & Travels (P) Ltd. Mumbai, has taken over as Chair of the Maharashtra Chapter, replacing Mrs. Vasuki Sundaram.
Separate chapters have been created for Uttarakhand and Ladakh with Mr. Nidhish Sharma, Managing Director of Garhwal Adventure Pvt. Ltd. Dehradun, and Mr. Tsering Namgyal, Managing Director of Windhorse Expeditions India, Ladakh, being appointed as Chair for Uttarakhand and Ladakh respectively.
Mr. Rajiv Mehra, President of IATO, while welcoming the new regional/state chapters mentioned that he is sure that this will help strengthen the IATO membership base for India and especially in Uttarakhand and Ladakh as there were no separate Chapter Chairs in these two states. With a State Chair located at those places, besides increasing the membership base, IATO will have better coordination and interaction with the state governments and the local trade.
