As GVB’s new public relations and marketing representative, CWW will be tasked to promote Guam as a premier travel destination in the Western Pacific that is visa-free and easily accessible from Russia Far East. The primary target markets will be in the Russia Far East region, which is where the majority of Guam’s Russian visitors originate.
Visitor arrivals from Russia to Guam have increased significantly since the implementation of the Russia Visa Waiver on January 15, 2012. November 2012 Guam visitor arrivals data shows Russia arrivals have increased a remarkable 615.3 percent over the same period last year – from 485 to 3,469.
