The Slovak TA3 news television says two unspecified sports planes have crashed. At least one aircraft involved was a Let L-410 Turbolet.

Zuzana Farkasova, a spokeswoman for the Slovak firefighters, says the accident took place Thursday about 0830 GMT (2:30 a.m. EDT) near the village of Cerveny Kamen. She could not immediately say how many people were on board each of the planes or what types of planes had crashed.
