Petra Roach, izvršna direktorica Uprave za turizam Grenade, rekla je „2022. je bila fenomenalna godina za Grenadu i to ne bismo mogli učiniti bez pomoći naših turističkih partnera. Više od 60 posto dolazaka Grenade dolazi iz SAD-a i sjeveroistoka, posebno New Yorka, pokazuju ogromne brojke. Ponosni smo na zajednički rad koji smo obavili i radujemo se što ćemo s vama povećati taj broj 2023. godine.”

Turistička uprava Grenade (GTA) priredila je intimnu večeru u New Yorku u znak zahvalnosti svojim cijenjenim partnerima. Okupljanje medija, turističkih savjetnika i turoperatora održano je u Allora Ristorante u centru Manhattana.

2022 was a busy year for the destination. The GTA launched its Grenada Travel Expert Program, an e-learning program that allows the travel agent community to acquire the knowledge necessary to become an expert in selling the destination. In addition, the GTA introduced its Simple Stays Grenada program, which offers visitors access to the destination’s smaller, more intimate properties. The island’s beloved Spice Mas returned this year, and the destination increased air capacity and returned service with a number of its airline partners including American Airlines, Air Canada, Caribbean Airlines, JetBlue, and Sunwing.

Randall Dolland, Chairman of the Grenada Tourism Authority, weighed in on the significance of Grenada’s travel partners, stating “Grenada’s tourism arrivals are trending in the right direction, and we know that’s a result of your efforts. Thank you for your commitment to the destination. We expect 2023 will be even better as we expand our tourism offerings with new hotels openings and exciting attractions. We’re excited about what’s to come and growing our relationship with each of you.”
